The 1998 International Motor Cycle Show will be staged at the NEC, Birmingham, from November 14-22. The organisers, Motor cycle Industry Exhibitions Ltd, have expanded the show to satisfy visitors and exhibitors needs. Extra floor space - increased to 31,000 square metres - will allow visitors to move easily around the five halls the show will occupy.
Last year, the show attracted 183,880 visitors and this year accompanied children up to ten years old will gain free admission in a move to encourage the growing number of family visitors.
This month's show will also offer visitors live attractions. A Thrills and Spills arena promises live motor cycling action from the world's top trials riders, including World Champion Dougie Lampkin.
A purpose-built circuit outside Hall 12 will offer learner riders a safe environment to test ride over 30 different models, under supervision of qualified CSM Motor cycle Training instructors.
Admission to the show will be £12 for adults and £5 for children (11-16) and senior citizens.
