More than 500 letters protesting over plans to close community hospital beds have been handed over to an MP.
Letters to Health Minister Frank Dobson were collected in Witney as part of the Deluge Dobson Day organised by the Save our Community Hospitals and Services Campaign.
The letters and a petition appeal to Mr Dobson to reject Oxfordshire Health Authority's money-saving plans to close community hospitals at Burford and Watlington and cut beds at others.
Campaigners handed the pile of correspondence to Witney MP Shaun Woodward at the town's community hospital, where 13 beds are under threat.
