The Midlands and southern England will have a largely cloudy night with occasional rain and drizzle, although the damp weather should be confined to western areas by dawn. Tomorrow Largely dry with enough breaks in the cloud to allow a few sunny spells, although East Anglia will be duller with drizzle.
Outlook for Saturday and Sunday: Most places will be dry and settled with overnight banks of fog and low cloud clearing to allow a little sunshine. The south east may turn colder but also sunnier on Sunday.
