OXFORD United's Division 1 match against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane has been moved from Saturday, March 27 to Friday, March 26 (7.45).
This is to avoid a clash with the England v Poland European Championship qualifier which is being played at 3pm on the Saturday and shown live on TV.
At one stage, it was thought the league game that weekend would be called off because the Blades would have three players on international duty.
But they have since sold one, while another has a long-term injury, so chances of the match being postponed are remote.
United defender Mark Watson has been called up to a Canadian national team training camp to be held in Duisberg, Germany from March 21-26.
With Oxford playing at Sheffield United on the Friday, Watson will return early in time for the match.
