TV star Anne Diamond has condemned her estranged husband Mike Hollingsworth for revealing secrets about their sex life.

Showbusiness agent Mike has revealed how they made love after turning down the volume on the baby alarm the night their five-month-old son Sebastian died of cot death.

Mr Hollingsworth, 52, who shared a £1.5m 14-bedroom mansion with Anne and their four sons at Cuddeson, near Wheatley, said Anne was tormented by the fact that if she had left the monitor on eight years ago she would have heard her son's breathing stop and might have been able to save him.

The agent to the stars, who separated from Anne, 44, following an affair with Virgin Radio DJ Harriet Scott last year, said: "Yes, she (Anne) felt guilty, so did I. It was one of those rare times when we had a good night together and actually made love." He added: "We've never discussed it since. I've never found it possible to talk to her about it."

Ms Diamond refused to discuss her husband's comments at the weekend. Speaking outside her Cuddesdon home, she said: "I think it is beneath contempt. That is all I want to say."

Last week, Mr Hollingsworth was fined £1,200 and banned from driving for a year by magistrates after he refused to give a breath test, following a violent row with former lover Harriet Scott.
