CADILLAC'S award-winning concept car, Evoq, will make its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, hot from the Detroit Show where it won the 'Best Concept Car' title.
Powered by a new 405 horsepower supercharged Northstar 4.2-litre V8 coupled to rear wheel drive, Evoq shows the future styling direction of Cadillac with a new youthful image for the famous US marque. Last year Cadillac retained its US luxury vehicles sales leadership for the 49th consecutive year with sales of 187,343.
"While we relish the moment, the competitive realities of the luxury vehicle market are clear," said Cadillac's general manager John F Smith.
"That is why the Evoq is such an important statement for Cadillac, as it illustrates our vision for the global luxury market.
"With its combination of individual style and driver-focused technology, Evoq is a forerunner of what you will see in future Cadillacs."
