Police in north Oxfordshire have been clamping down on speeding drivers.
Bicester traffic officers, which also covers Kidlington, Banbury, and Oxford, stopped 50 drivers in three hours on the A4260 Oxford to Banbury Road yesterday (TUES).
The initiative was part of a Thames Valley Police campaign to put the brakes on speeding lorries.
In three hours, 50 vehicles were pulled over for speeding on the road, which has a 60mph limit.
Of the 50, six lorry drivers were issued with speeding tickets, seven were cautioned for speeding, four transit drivers were given tickets and six were cautioned.
