A boy of ten admitted robbing a youngster of his £12 watch when he appeared before a youth court.
The boy, from Banbury, cannot be named for legal reasons, but is also charged with a string of other offences.
He admitted the robbery, which took place on September 22, and using abusive and threatening behaviour on August 30.
Other charges read out in the Banbury court included possessing a pellet gun, attempting to rob a boy of cigarettes and two assault charges, all of which were alleged to have taken place between November 22 and December 17. No plea was taken on these charges.
The boy, who is currently in voluntary care, will return to Banbury youth court on February 23.
Peter White, 19, of Pavillons Way, Brackley, was sentenced to two-and-a-half-years in a young offenders' institution at Oxford Crown Court yesterday after he admitted charges of attempted robbery and going equipped for theft.
