THAME snooker professional Lee Richardson crashed out of the £370,000 Regal Scottish Open at Aberdeen.
Richardson, 27, playing for the first time under TV lights in a big tournament, was beaten 5-0 by six-times Embassy world champion Stephen Hendry in the first round of the tournament at the Exhibition and Conference Centre yesterday.
Richardson said: "My form coming here was better than it's ever been. I had a maximum the day before I came here so I was feeling good, but I was playing a legend.
"I felt all right because no-one gave me a chance. The table was unbelievably fast and everything got on top of me.
"He's played under the lights loads of times and it was my first time."
Hendry opened the match with a 99 break and added runs of 44, 33 and 37 to set up a last 32 tie with Gloucester's Nick Pearce.
