A REFIT at an Oxford motor dealership was a real Italian job.
The Motorworld Volkswagen site at Iffley Road, Oxford, has been transformed to create a bright and spacious showroom and service reception.
Motorworld is one of the first Volkswagen sites nationwide to reflect VW's latest corporate design ideas.
The design concept centres around a piazza area in the showroom which echoes an Italian marketplace.
Motorworld, which also has a VW showroom at Kidlington, has held the Volkswagen franchise in Oxfordshire for over 20 years.
Having outgrown its previous location at Abingdon Road, Motorworld VW moved to the new site almost a year ago.
The relocation has more than doubled the space available and gives Motorworld VW customers new facilities on-site including a bodyshop and while-you-wait MoT service.
The parts area is four times its previous size and outside there is room to display 40 used cars.
Fred Chatterley, manager of the Iffley Road branch which employs 33 staff, said, "We are looking forward to launching the two new models, the Lupo and Bora, when they arrive in Oxfordshire in a few months' time."
