CHALLOW & Childrey failed in their quest to reach the grand finals of the ECB indoor cricket competition, losing to a strong Loughborough University side in the regional finals at Evesham.
Losing the toss and being asked to bat, Challow saw their chances disappear in the first two overs as they slumped to 10-4 against some quick swing bowling.
Chris Warboys provided some resistance but Challow could manage only 26 and Loughborough passed the target in just four overs for the loss of one wicket.
In the other semi-final, Waresley (Hunts) beat Montgomery (Shrops), before losing to Loughborough in the last over of the final.
They now go through to the grand final at Lord's on Sunday, March 14.
