Four people have been charged today with drugs offences following a series of police raids which netted £80,000 of cannabis.
Police raided five homes in Oxford's Cowley Road, Blackbird Leys and Greater Leys on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
A large haul of cannabis resin was found in a flat in Cowley Road. Cannabis resin and amphetamine sulphate was seized from the homes in Greater and Blackbird Leys.
Oxford police Supt Cressida Dick said: "This is one of the largest hauls of cannabis ever seized in Oxford."
A 28-year-old man has been charged with possession with intent to supply a class B drug. A 33-year-old man and two women, aged 31 and 41, have been charged with possession of a class B drug. The drugs have been sent away for analysis and the four people were due to appear at Oxford Magistrates Court this morning.
