A cloudy night, especially in the south and west where there will also be some longer spells of rain, in the north and west there may be a few short lived breaks in the cloud cover with blustery showers and a strong south or south-westerly wind.

Tomorrow: Much of England and Wales will also have a cloudy start with perhaps a little light rain, although south-eastern England may briefly be a little brighter around mid-morning. Gradually during the afternoon the clearer weather will spread to northern England, Wales and the south-west with showers not arriving here until late in the day.

Outlook: The south will become mostly dry with the threat of early morning mist and fog patches.
