There's one green bottle that's been sitting in a wall since 1716.
And in it was hidden a faded note bearing three mysterious names.
Workmen unearthed the bottle while working on a wall between Bampton House and Lavender House, Bampton, which provide 18 sheltered flats for elderly people. The find has caused a lot of interest among the residents.
Lavender House warden Yvonne Bardell said: "The wall was collapsing so workmen came in to rebuild it. They found this green bottle with the date March 19, 1716.
"Inside is some paper with the names H Lock, T Dipper and F Lay.
"We find it all quite fascinating and interesting and would love to find out anything we can as to why it was put there and who the people were."
