The Marquess of Blandford suffered whiplash injuries and cuts after being involved in a two-car crash yesterday.
Jamie Blandford, the son of the Duke of Marlborough, was driving an Audi along the Witney to Long Hanborough road at about 2pm when the collision happened.
The 43-year-old Marquess, who lives in a farmhouse near Kiddington, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, for treatment before returning home.
His girlfriend of five years, 30-year-old Edla Griffiths, also suffered slight injuries. The Marquess told the Oxford Mail: "I was driving through Long Hanborough towards Witney.
"I have a cut to my head and suffered slight concussion. I was taken to hospital and later discharged. My girlfriend is fine."
He said he had swapped insurance details with the uninjured Vauxhall driver, who has not been named.
Police were called to the scene.
