THE Football Licensing Authority have given the all-clear to Oxford United's application for dispensation to use the terraces at the Manor Ground next season.
The full impact of the Taylor Report comes into effect at the beginning of next season and under the new guidelines, United must comply with the 'safe terracing' guidelines set by the FLA.
The Manor did not meet the requirements for safe terracing but United had applied for dispensation until their new ground at Minchery Farm is completed, and it was granted yesterday.
Now that they have been given the thumbs-up, United will be able to start selling season tickets for next season.
If the application had been declined, Oxford United would have be left with a capacity of less than 3,000 seats.
