OXFORD Devils got their National Trophy campaign off to a cracking start by slamming Barking & Dagenham 98-58 at Oxford Brookes on Saturday.
Devils completely outplaying the visitors early on as they raced into an early 16-2 lead and never looked back.
With OJ Chouka having an inspired match, backed up by Arthur Robinson, the London team had problems coping with the pressure.
Devils continued to dominate right up until the break, by which time they had opened up a lead of 44-21.
The deluge of points continued in the second half with Steve Riley scoring the first eight points and Keith Kelly finding his range.
The visitors staged a mini-revival but could not match the speed and power of the Devils, who cruised into the third round.
Oxford leading scorers: OJ Chouka 27, Arthur Robinson 23, Mark Smith 14.
