It used to be just dustmen who cleared out our bins - but no longer.
Teresa Moss has become the first woman in the dustcart teams of west Oxfordshire. And she loves it.
"It's the best job I've ever had," she said. "I wouldn't swap it for anything else."
Teresa, 28, of Abbey Road, Witney, made such an impression as a temporary worker for Cleanaway Ltd that, when a permanent job came up, they had no hesitation in employing her. The word "dustman" is now out. Teresa, like the 20 men in the team, is a loader and operator.
Teresa has had several jobs since leaving Wood Green School, Witney, including being a van driver and a machine operator.
She said: "There's no problem working with a load of men. They haven't got a bad word against me because I do the job just as well."
