FANS of four-time World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty will be able to pay homage to their hero as he celebrates his championship success during a special Foggy Day at the International Motor Cycle Show this Friday.

Visitors on Foggy Day will be offered the chance to win a unique VIP day out with the Ducati team at the Brands Hatch Round of the World Superbike championship.

In addition to an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience with the World Championship winning team, the prize winner will also receive unlimited pit lane access. Carl will present the prize at the show.

An auction of Foggy memorabilia is one of the live events scheduled for the 5th November. Exclusive souvenirs and riding gear from the champion's racing career will be auctioned for charity. The opportunity to ride with the Superbike champ is also on offer. Eight lucky show goers will challenge Carl to lap of the infamous TT course on the Manx TT video simulator.

Former TT lap-record holder Fogarty has promised a special prize for the person who manages to beat him.

Foggy Day is the first opportunity to meet Carl since the culmination of the World Superbike Championship. A special autograph session is planned with Carl aboard his championship winning race bike together with fellow stars of the World Superbike championship.

Team Honda and Suzuki riders Colin Edwards and Pier-Francesco Chili will also mingle with their fans on Foggy Day. Chris Walker, Niall Mackenzie, Troy Bayliss and John Reynolds, from the British Superbike championship, will also be present.

Foggy Day offers show visitors their first opportunity to see the 50 new models to be unveiled at the largest ever motorcycle show to be staged in the UK. Over 270 exhibitors will unveil more than 1000 new products at the NEC, Birmingham. A record breaking 200,000 visitors are expected to converge on the show from November 5-14 .
