A rare football fixture list dating back 90 years has been found in a cupboard.
Dick Offord, of Graham Road, Bicester, found the Bicester Town Football Club fixture list for 1909/10 when he was trawling through old newspaper cuttings of himself.
Mr Offord, 62, who played football and cricket for the town in the 1950s and 60s, was hunting for a newspaper cutting of him taking all ten wickets against Charlbury to show to a friend.
He said: "I was looking through all the cuttings when this fixture list just fell out.
"It's a marvellous piece of Bicester Town footballing history." Bicester's first match of that season was against Bicester Brewery, since long gone, and other fixtures were against teams like Ardley Railway Works and the Oxford Institute.
"There were matches against the likes of Weston-on-the-Green and Ambrosden who haven't had a team in years," added Mr Offord.
"I think the fixture list was given to me by the late Charlie Rawlings."
Mr Offord said he intends to have the fixture list framed and he will be donating it to the club as a historic memento.
