UNITED are revising their predicted gate figure for next week's FA Cup replay against Nottingham Forest after what they describe as "a very encouraging demand for tickets".
Club secretary Mick Brown reckoned there may be only 5,500 at the third round replay next Tuesday after the first match at the City Ground pulled in just 8,000, but the Manor Ground attendance now looks like being closer to 7,000.
United have almost sold out of family seats already and tickets for other areas are going well.
"Forest are not expecting to bring many followers but demand this end has been very encouraging," said United ticket office supervisor Darren Bowler.
