THE South Midlands area will again host a total of 15 meetings for the 2000 season when local owners and riders will be bidding for the region's annual awards which will be newly-sponsored by property consultants, Knight Frank
The sport of point-to-pointing continues to grow apace and no more so than in this region which last year played host to 109 races, receiving a total of 1,062 entries.
The Racing Channel will be televising three meetings in the South Midlands area: Barbury Castle (Jan 23), Mollington (Jan 30) and Heythrop (April 11). SOUTH MIDLANDS MEETINGS
