First, this massive pike weighing 44.2.0 was caught by Mike Lawrence, of Great Missenden, Bucks, from Barnes's Trout Lake at Standlake.
It was taken during a pike-fishing trial and is the same fish caught by Oxford angler Darren Willingham two years ago when it weighed 45.15.0.
At the time it was the second biggest pike caught in England.
The second monster was a mirror carp of 40.2.0 from Manor Lake on the Shimano/Linear complex at Stanton Harcourt, which fell to 26-year-old driver James Berry, from Witney.
