THREE players were sent off following a fracas in the B-Line Oxford Boys League game between Radley Under 15s and Highfield.
Violence erupted after a Radley player was scythed down by a Highfield opponent and the two started fighting.
At this point, the majority of the Highfield side piled in, with one lad, who had been substituted, running on to the pitch and attacking the Radley boy.
It took a parent to break up the fracas, after which referee Kevin Norris sent off the Highfield and Radley players who had been involved in the original incident, and the Highfield player who came back on to the pitch.
Norris declined to comment, but said he had filed reports to the Oxfordshire FA and the Berks and Bucks FA.
Radley manager Adrian Lawson confirmed that there had been an incident, but declined to elaborate.
He said his club were waiting for a copy of Norris's report before deciding what action, if any, to take.
Highfield are understood to have been in trouble before this season, with Abingdon reporting them to the league for bad behaviour.
No-one from Highfield was available for comment.
Highfield won the match 6-1.
