Six friends who first met at a pub are all expecting babies before the end of the year.
The friends, who first met at the Red Lion pub in Kidlington 12 years ago, still regularly get together but now the talk is of nappies, breast feeding and sleepless nights.
The mum's army to-be are Sharron Ridgway, of Chapel Lane, Enstone; Camilla Lay, of Digging Lane, Fyfield; Rachel Peake, of Paines Hill, Steeple Aston; Lisa Heritage, of Rowan Close, Kidlington, Adele Parker, of Hill View Road, Botley, and Katie Spratt, of Basset Way, Kidlington. For Rachel, Lisa and Katie, the new arrivals will be their first.
Sharon said: "It was a complete shock the way each of us became pregnant it was almost as if it was catching. But it will be lovely for all the children to grow up together."
