Class Press Cherwell League Division 3A round-up
**Witney Mills kept up the pressure on leaders Kidlington with a five-wicket win over Rover Cowley 2nd.
Steve Kelly took 4-32 as Rover made 180-7 after being put in, Matty Watts top-scoring with 59.
Kelly (34) then steadied the ship after Witney had slipped from 75-0 to 78-3, putting on 70 for the fourth wicket with Pete Magnuson (65) as the home side reached 181-5 despite James Whiteley's 3-61.

**Kidlington showed no sign of letting up and their clinical treatment of Cumnor 2nd suggests they are the side to catch.
Cumnor's total of 113-9 was never likely to be enough, and Kidlington achieved their target for the loss of only three wickets.

**Horspath also kept in touch with a three-wicket win at Moreton-in-Marsh.
The home side made 166-8 after being put in, Dennis Messenger (3-76) and David Heritage (4-83) bowling unchanged.
Heritage (45) then joined Graham Plested (49) at the crease and, with the help of a massive 42 extras, those two led Horspath to 167-7, despite a fine spell of bowling from Brian Farrell (5-57).

**Abingdon Vale are the fourth side currently vying for honours and they comfortably passed Oxford Nondescripts 2nd's 144-9 with six wickets in hand.
Ameer Butt (50) was Nondies main run-scorer as Andy Johnson took 6-51 for Vale, whose skipper Ben Humpage, then struck a chanceless 68 not out in their reply.

**Swindon GWR leapfrogged Wallingford following their four-wicket win over the visitors. Wallingford's 139-7 was built around Ricky Prescott (43) and Phil Sharp (38), but Swindon reached 140-6 despite Trevor Spindler's 4-45. Darren Bessant made 38 not out.
