Classic Press Cherwell League Division 2 round-up
**Bicester & North Oxford 2nd chalked up their first win of the season with a six-wicket victory against fellow strugglers Bletchley 2nd. Dave Clark's 5-19 was instrumental in dismissing the visitors for 127. And, with Damian Alderton (43) returning from injury to assist Matt Collins (54), Bicester coasted to 130-4.

**Veteran seamer Barry Collis returned excellent figures of 5-55 off 24 overs as Kingston Bagpuize also notched their first success with a 14-run victory over Great & Little Tew. Collis's marathon spell helped dismiss the Tews for 153 with only Melvin Riley (36) putting up any real resistance. Earlier, Kingston had been indebted to Mike Mowatt's unbeaten 63 as they reached 167-9 after Matt Biker (3-37) and Keith Melksham (3-49) had reduced them to 56-6.

**Kimble extended their lead at the top with a four-wicket win over closest rivals Bourton Vale. Put in to bat, Vale could manage only 147 all out, with Salim Fazal (4-55), Ed Griffin (3-22) and Steve Cocking (3-68) doing the damage. Glyn Lumb then hit 49 to set Kimble on course for victory.

**Luke List ripped out the heart of Banbury 2nd's batting with 6-39 to give Oxford Downs a 54-run victory. With Richard Gauntlett weighing in with 3-42, Banbury were dismissed for 192 despite sterling efforts from Tim Smith (64) and Phil Cooksey (37). Earlier, Tim Sutton led the way for Downs with 89 not out as they rattled up 246-7. Steve Roberts (45) and Paddy Daniel (37) provided good support.

**Jon Talbot (84) and Dave Thomas (58) headed Chalgrove's challenge against Dinton, and with John Allen scoring 31, they totalled 236-6, Ivor Jones taking 3-76. John Purcell's 32 in Dinton's reply was bolstered by a crisply-struck 36 by Adrian Manger, but with Nick Adby (3-72) and Steve Strong (3-82) retaining their poise, Dinton were held to 209-7.
