Oxfordshire veterans enjoyed considerable success at the Midlands Championships at Solihull.
Jackie Charles, from Oxford City, won a fistful of gold medals in the women's 55 age group.
She triumphed in the long jump in 3.84m, triple jump (8.15m), high jump (1.18m), shot (7.26m) and 80m hurdles (17.2 secs).
New Vet Trevor Taylor (White Horse Harriers) won gold in the 3000m steeplechase in 10mins 45.8secs and silver in the 800m in 2mins 5.8secs in the 40 age group. To complete a memorable day, White Horse Harrier Bruce Charles also struck gold in the 55 age group in the 100m hurdles in 20.2, and finished third in the high jump.
