The programme of festivities for Oxfordshire's spectacular Oomf! extravaganza has been officially launched.
The three-day event - Oxfordshire's Own Millennium Festival - will feature a variety of attractions. Many of Oxford's historic buildings will also be opening their doors to the public for the first time.
The festival will climax with a light and sound show in South Park, Headington, Oxford, on July 1, which will include the performance of a specially-composed Symphony in Morris Minor by Nick Bicat.
Festival manager, Rosemary Richards, who launched the programme at the former Oxford Prison, said: "The whole idea is to give people access to the hidden nooks and crannies of the city centre."
