Carnival organisers in Wallingford are looking forward to a bumper Millennium event.
The fun-packed spectacle on Saturday will raise hundreds of pounds for charity. It features a colourful fancy dress procession through the town and a day of open-air entertainment.
The carnival is this year based on the theme of dreams, and features a procession with two bands and 18 floats - with entries from local organisations including schools, pubs, clubs and the community hospital.
There will also be a fun day on the Kine Croft featuring side shows, live entertainment, with falconry displays, clowns and donkey rides.
The evening will end with a free open-air dance in the market place.
