Fierce Panda Records, so the story goes, 'discovered' Hundred Reasons at a gig in north London back in March. By all accounts, it was only the five-piece outfit's third gig. Yet they blew the headliners, Kittie, off the stage, writes Metal Mickey.
This was no mean feat, as Kittie are being touted as a band most likely to make it big by just about everyone and his dog living inside the boundaries of the M25. Hundred Reasons rose from the ashes of metallers Floor and power trio Jetpak - and already they have some friends in high places. Kerrang! magazine has been raving about them so much that the journalists concerned have been screened for rabies. Allegedly. Radio One's Mary-Anne Hobbs has also got behind the band too, giving them extensive airplay on her rock show.
Recently Hundred Reasons played three awesome shows in one night, performing their own version of the Camden Crawl, starting off at the Electric Ballroom, heading to the garage in Highbury and concluding proceedings at The Falcon.
Confirmation, if any was needed, of the band's sheer energy. They pitch up at The Elm Tree tomorrow night, heading a three-band bill.
It'll be loud, brash and a real eye-opener. See you in the mosh pit.
