DANCING and acting classes are on offer at a new after-school club.
The club, for children aged between four and ten, is based at West Oxford Community Primary School in Ferry Hinksey Road, Oxford, and takes place on Monday nights during term time. The two-hour classes are free, but parents are asked to make donations. Joan Begg, treasurer, said: "Children get the chance to dance and act and let off steam.
"It is a continuation of the school day but it is not classroom-based.
"Childrens' development is not all about academic achievement.
"This is an opportunity for children to do something they might be good at."
