Australian ace Jon Moss seems to enjoy facing Oxfordshire clubs.
Having beaten Banbury almost single-handed with 104 and 7-35 including the hat-trick earlier this season, the Finchampstead all-rounder turned his attention to Bicester and North Oxford on Saturday.
This time, Moss had to be content with 155 and 6-26!
Bicester's own Aussie, Damien Alderton, accounted for the first two Finchampstead wickets when they batted first, but the innings was dominated by Moss and skipper Harry Hall. They put on 133 for the second wicket before Moss was caught for 155. Hall went on to make an unbeaten 78 as Finchampstead used only 50 of their 64 overs before declaring on 302-3 at a run a ball.
Bicester's reply got off to the worst possible start, 'that man' Moss sending back Ian Hawtin, leg before for nought.
James France steadied the ship with a well-made 55, and there was solid support from Alderton and Graham Savin in the middle order.
However, Hall chipped in with three wickets and then Moss got to work on the tail, clean-bowling four of the last five batsmen, three of them for ducks!
Bicester, without county skipper Rob Williams, were dismissed for 125 in the 52nd over.
