Classic Press Cherwell League Division 2 round-up
**A virtuoso batting display by Martin Shepherd saw Kingston Bagpuize scrape home by three wickets against Bicester & North Oxford 2nd. Shepherd (81no) scored all but 31 of his side's runs as they struggled home at 112-7 with Andrew Wingfield Digby taking 6-50. Earlier, Wingfield Digby's son, Mark (32), was the only Bicester batsman to make any dent in the bowling figures of Barry Collis, who finished with 4-39.

**Great & Little Tew were unable to halt leaders Kimble as they were bowled out for just 94 to go down by six wickets. Salim Fazal (4-38) again bowled superbly and received excellent back-up from Ed Griffin (3-26) before Kimble's batsmen knocked off the runs.

**Luke List bowled superby to take 6-59 as Oxford Downs maintained their push with a four-wicket victory at Chalgrove. List was well supported by Richard Gauntlett (3-43) as Chalgrove set a target of 175 with Darren Clark (44), Jon Talbot (43) and Steve Strong (30) all scoring well. Tim Sutton (57 no) led the Downs reply and with Ian Caunce making 34, they eased to 178-6 in the 48th over.

**Brian Jeffries (5-17) and Andy Smith (3-9) shone took the bowling honours for Banbury 2nd as they shot out Bletchley 2nd for 87 to set up a seven-wicket win. Bletchley's James Sprittles (30) was the leading run-maker in a low-scoring match.

**Hawtrey hit an unbeaten 136 to steer Bourton Vale to a four-wicket win at Dinton, who had posted 211-8. Phil Manger (55), Darren Risden (39) and Peter Ludlow (37) were the main contributors for Dinton.
