Silverstone and Ferrari racing instructor Anthony Dunn, of Duns Tew, near Chipping Norton, pushed British champion Glenn Reyland all the way at the Hunts Kart Club race meet at Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire.
Dunn finished two kart lengths behind Reyland in the final of the 125 Rotax Max Class. Dunn said: "This was my third drive in the Rotax Max and my most successful. I am using karting as a way to keep sharp for racing as I intend to be back in single-seaters in Formula Renault Sport at the end of the season."
