Long-term plans by Swedish furniture giant IKEA to invest 700m in new stores across the UK over the next ten years could include a store in Oxfordshire.
IKEA is the world's largest furniture store and the UK is the company's second-largest market.
At present, there are ten stores in the UK, each employing 500 staff. There are plans to add a further 20 as well as two distribution centres in a two-phase, ten-year plan.
A spokesman said: "Oxfordshire is not included in the first phase of the plans, but it could be a possibility for the future.
