Robbers disguised a getaway car as a taxi following a robbery at Nuneham Courtenay, police said today.
Last Wednesday, three men threatened the postmaster and stole cash after going into the post office on the B4074 at Nuneham Courtenay. No-one was hurt in the raid.
The robbers had been travelling in a white Ford Sierra stolen from Oxford earlier that day. After the robbery, they changed to an E-registered beige Vauxhall Cavalier a quarter of a mile from the entrance to Baldon House on the Marsh Baldon Road.
A taxi sign was placed on the roof but a Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "We think this was a disguise. We would like to hear from anyone who saw the Cavalier leaving Baldon House."
Anyone with information should call Wantage police on 01235 776000.
