C are to voice concerns on the changing nature of Oxfordshire's business economy today (June 21).
More than 70 delegates from Oxfordshire's small and medium sized firms are expected to attend the question and answer forum.
Mark Cathcart, of IBM Corporation, will look at changes in information technology and some of the cutting-edge technology expected to be available in the next five years.
Delegates at the Business Link Heart of England event, which is being held from 5.30pm at the Holt Hotel, Steeple Aston, will also hear about 3D modelling and animation from business entrepreneur, Adrian Dodds, who runs his own design consultancy in Bicester. David Evans, chairman of Oxfordshire Business Forum, managing director of Purite and board member of Business Link Heart of England said: "Oxfordshire Business Forum was initiated to ensure the two-way flow of communication between Business Link and their customers the local businesses. In the first half of the evening Business Link will present their plans for the future and firms then have the opportunity to give their feedback, which is then presented direct to the Business Link board." He added: "It is our way to ensure that small and medium sized businesses are involved in the development of Business Link services, which will be operating under the umbrella of the Small Business Service from April 2001.
