AFC Wallingford have appointed 41-year-old Dave Crowdy from Calcot, near Reading, as their new first-team manager.
He takes over from long-standing boss Larry Hill, who has been with Wallingford since 1992, but has decided to concentrate on his business interests.
Crowdy, a former Newbury Town, Thatcham and Marlow player, has an 11-year managerial association with the Theale Sunday side, winning the FA Sunday Cup in 1992, and the Reading Sunday League championship on four occasions.
He has also managed league rivals Reading Town on two occasions, taking Town into the last 32 of the FA Vase in 1997.
