Henley will play in the Oxfordshire Cup next season after fighting off attempts to remove them from the competition because they are too good.
Last season several clubs campaigned to have the Allied Dunbar Premiership 2 outfit removed from the competition, considering it unfair and dangerous that players of that standard were facing those of much lesser ability.
Three clubs proposed to a meeting of the Oxfordshire RFU committee that clubs from the top two flights of English rugby be barred from competing in the Oxon Cup.
However, Henley put forward an amendment stating that players who have made three or more starts to Allied Dunbar Premiership matches are ineligible to play in the cup, so restricting the strength of their side.
