Batsman Mick Morris returns for Oxford Nondescripts' home game against Sandford St Martin in Division 1 tomorrow following a climbing expedition in the Himalayas.
Morris has missed Nondies' last two games with the charity trip - but his return gives the side a big boost.
Skipper Steve Wood is out for Sandford, attending a wedding, so Paul Tew takes over the captaincy. Chas Taylor returns to the side. Leaders Shipton-under-Wychwood, with one eye on Sunday's Oxfordshire final of the Village Knockout at Tiddington, rest paceman Paul Snell for the trip to Rover Cowley.
Snell had a back problem, and Shipton will also be without Phil Garner and Felix MacDonald, but Paul Humphreys, Adam Lock and Steve Bates are all available.
For Rover, Steve Conway has returned to his native Middlesbrough and batsman Colin Ball returns to fill the void.
Manoj Parmar will be looking for his third consecutive league century when Thame take on Leighton Buzzard at Church Meadow. Buzzard have to ring the changes with Lee Selfe and Andy Ward at weddings and Tim O'Leary unavailable.
Steve Ferguson steps up from the 2nd XI to skipper for the day, Nick Scott is back and university student Nigel Irvin is available.
Challow & Childrey are without skipper Pat Field, who is on business in Spain, and Barry James for the trip to Banbury Twenty.
They are replaced by Will Moore and Martin Turnbull as Challow seek to stop a run of three straight defeats.
Twenty will be without Mike Wedderburn, who will be sidelined for a couple of weeks through injury.
Cumnor skipper Clive Ricks is out for the remainder of the school term and Steve Slade takes over the captaincy for the trip to Buckingham, who are unchanged.
