Just had to have a say about the execution that took place in Texas yesterday. What a big circus. I have lived in Texas the last five years and have to say there are a lot of "rednecks " in the south (not just Texas I might add ). I for one was very pleased that the guy was finally killed. Why spend all that money keeping and feeding him (like many others on death row)? Besides, he fully deserved what he got. I know if I were to lose a loved one, I would certainly want the killer killed.
As usual they are making it a racist thing. If it had been a white person, not so much would have been made of it. To hear Jesse Jackson talk, you would think a white person had never been executed! I'm sure we haven't heard the last of this. Any other opinions out there?
