Oxford are still looking for their first win after being involved in a nail-biting draw at home to Wokingham on Saturday.
Wokingham's Simon Myles took 5-41 as Oxford struggled to make 139-6 off 60 overs. Only wicket-keeper Kenny Bingham topped 30.
After a tidy opening spell by Phil Evans, the bulk of Oxford's bowling was done by experienced spinners Rupert Evans and Ian Curtis.
Only Myles mastered them with 52 which set up a thrilling finish, with Wokingham finishing four short of victory with their last pair at the crease.
