Jenson Button says three days of testing at the Magny Cours circuit in France has given him a good grounding for his first French Grand Prix on Sunday.
Having driven for all three days of the test session, he said: "The good mileage that we have achieved here has certainly strengthened my understanding of how an F1 car behaves on this circuit. I can't wait for next weekend's race." James Robinson, senior operations engineer for the Grove-based BMW Williams team, said they had been trying new components for next weekend's race.
He said: "We have also been focusing our efforts on tyres and in the process, collected some valuable data which we will assess and apply during our preparations for the French Grand Prix."
