Singers and players providing the grand finale music for Oomf! - or Oxfordshire's Own Millennium Festival - are gearing up for their big night.
Hundreds of singers drawn from dozens of choirs and a professionally-led orchestra will present Nick Bicat's Symphony in Morris Minor, an hour-long piece written specially for the event, in South Park, Headington, Oxford, on Saturday (July 1).
The last massed choir rehearsal before the day took place on Sunday at Oxford Town Hall and organisers are confident the musicians will do the city proud.
But it is still not too late to take part. Oomf! community music co-ordinator Sue Evans said: "We have just one more rehearsal and good sight readers can come along on the day, or people can just pick up the music. "It's going to be brilliant and the last rehearsal sounded wonderful.
The final choir rehearsal will take place with the orchestra on the South Park stage between 10am and 1pm on Saturday.
The orchestra is being conducted by Andrew Parrott, who has conducted at the Proms.
