A prayer penned by an Oxford schoolboy will feature in a Millennium service at St Paul's Cathedral in London.
Philip Wood, of Frenchay Road, Oxford, wrote the prayer while studying for his A-levels at Magdalen College School, winning a creative writing competition run by the Independent Schools Council.
The 18-year-old said attends St Margaret's Church in north Oxford. The inspiration for the prayer came from the language of the King James version of the Bible, he said.
