A young woman suffered facial injuries after being punched in an unprovoked attack outside a town centre pub.
The victim, who has not been named, was hit by another woman outside the busy Green Tree pub in St Mary's Street, Wallingford. The unknown attacker grabbed the woman around the throat and punched her.
The attack took place at 10.30pm on June 17 while the victim, who comes from the Wallingford area, stood talking to friends. She suffered cuts and bruises to her mouth and arms. The attacker wasis described as white, aged between 25 and 30, around 5ft 6ins tall, of big build, with straight hair and a round face.
Wallingford police have appealed to witnesses to contact them.
