Motorists are being warned to expect delays on Oxfordshire roads this Sunday as a huge electricity transformer is moved through the county.
The 322-tonne load is being delivered from Stafford to an electricity sub-station in Buckinghamshire. The transformer is being conveyed down the M6, M42 and M40, moving onto the A43 Oxford to Northampton road at the Ardley M40 interchange, Junction 10.
It will continue on the A43, the A421 Buckingham bypass and the A413 to Winslow, followed by minor roads to the sub-station at East Claydon.
