Youngsters are going to benefit from a new minibus, thanks to a power deal.
Milton Parish Amenity Trust has bought the vehicle for the village primary school, and handed it to headteacher Linda Shatford.
The trust is administered by the parish council.
The cash came from a deal tied in with planning approval for Didcot B Power Station. National Power had to pay 75,000 each to Milton, Didcot, Sutton Courtenay and Appleford.
Milton Parish Council chairman George Strange said: "We are using the money for the community and this minibus will help the children, the school and other people in our village.
"We have also funded an adventure trail in Milton play area.
"We are obviously very grateful to National Power."
