A weekend of mountaineering by police officers from west Oxfordshire raised more than 2,000 for the paediatric assessment unit at Oxford's Churchill Hospital.
Seven bobbies from Carterton and Witney climbed the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours.
They were driven by two Ministry of Defence policemen.
They set off from the foot of Ben Nevis at 8.20am on July 1, reached Scafell Pike at 6.30pm and Snowdon at 3am on Sunday.
They completed the marathon with 40 minutes to spare.
